The use of our double sized endless “flo” pools harness our pioneering method of tuition and allows our advanced swimming teacher to be right along side their students as they swim. They have a regulated current to swim in and for want of a better word can be called a “swimming treadmill”.
If you have an inherent fear of water and are anxious about participating in a class then our pools are perfect for you. The whole pool can be yours or you could swim with a friend of a similar ability.
Our double sized Endless Pools have a regulated current to swim in and for want of a better word can be called a “swimming treadmill”. They are set at a constant 31 degrees Celsius making chilly water and cold changing room facilities a distant memory.
All lessons are taught on 1:1 and 2:1 basis and will last for 30 minutes.
Our lesson structure is based on relaxation and floatation. You will be on your own in the pool so you can regain your confidence more easily.
We provide expert help to make it less scary, more enjoyable and we are always on hand to help overcome any fears as we are in the pool alongside you. If you are an adult and would like to improve your stroke we can easily help you achieve this with ease and comfort within one session.
We will analyse and video your stroke and send it back to you so you are able to see how you are improving, as with all our 1:1 or 2:1 lessons you will have the benefit of our underwater mirrors so you can see exactly what your propulsive phase should be doing. The floor mirrors are a visual masterstroke that will enable you to achieve a good healthy stroke without pain or discomfort. You will be able to take these new skills to a larger, conventional pool to practice and then return to us a week later so we can review and go through your progress.
If you swim for fitness and you can already swim 400 metres and wish to make bigger gains we can help you with your technique. Breathing and refinement of your propulsion and recovery phase and head position and common faults that are easy overcome and we will give you correct feedback on how to achieve this.
We will watch, guide, demonstrate and give you tips and exercises to practice in and outside of the pool to take you to your next stage of swimming.
Our 1:1 swim tuition, whether it be a lesson or a coaching session is charged at £31.50 per half hour. It is recommended to take paid trial lessons first and then book a further 4 in advance.
We don’t charge a cancellation fee, just as long as you get in contact with your swim coach on the morning of your swim.
